Holistic cleanse and declutter

Remember that saying “practice what you preach”?  I could not count the number of times I have suggested to others the benefits of decluttering.  I even have a power-point presentation on the topic.  (Yes .. I hear you laugh).   Take some time to remove unwanted things from your life and you open yourself up to the new and improved.  Go ahead, reap the benefits of an ordered and organised home and family life.  Right?

So January is the month to get into removing, eliminating, sorting, cleansing and removing of clutter.   January is also the time to look like I am moving towards a lifestyle of order and minimalist philosophy – instead of preparing for a reality TV show.  I leave things out on the bench, table, floor or chair (any surface really) while the cupboards and drawers are all sorted and organised.  In other words what other people see is a mess and I think I am ordered.

January 2012 Intention  ~ declutter

Mystic Medusa suggested to me “..if you can give yourself some tranquil space in the next three days, cloudy emotions and confusion clear..”.   Umm!   finding tranquil space can be difficult when surrounded by dust and unwanted junk that should have been discarded some ten to twenty years ago.

Wonder what I might find????

About holistic complications

I like to work on a personal goal or challenge each year .. learning from my previous experiences, I try and face my fears, to stretch myself and step forward, to create a more holistic and authentic life, living with good intentions - a clear, honest and 'real' life! I want to be more accountable for the life I live and create! My experience of being real and authentic are quite complicated at times!! I blog to share my blunders, experiences and ideas and to gain some insight from the self reflection that the process of blogging creates for me.
