February 2012 Intention ~ Improve health and fitness
The second layer on my 2012 intentions is about health, nutrition and exercise. Our physical well being has a huge impact on our emotional well-being and vice versa. I have noticed over recent years that I do not eat much fruit, fish, legumes or protein. I eat way more than my share of carbohydrates. I love fresh crusty bread, rye bread, little dinner rolls with sesame seeds on top. Yum! I am sure a nutritionist would give me a stern talking to if I told him / her the real truth about my routine diet. My wiser self has gently brought this fact to my attention.
So February …
- eat more fruit and fish
- have a proper, aka healthy, breakfast every day
- increase my flexibility with weekly exercise
… and continue to eliminate clutter from my home and life!
