today’s quote (Happiness) ~ 21 February 2012

Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness.  It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.

~ Helen Keller

I like this quote, it reminds me to keep focused on what is my higher purpose in life.

It can be so easy to lose sight of who we are and where we are going on this journey of life, when all around us is noise and haste and fear.  It takes a strong mind and a keen heart to keep true to our plan .. to keep true to our intentions.

This flower in keeping with its purpose, is shining a lovely yellow light in sandy and arid soil

If we can keep honest, respectful and responsibility to ourselves and our intentions I believe we have a good opportunity to find true happiness and our life will be less complicated.

I wish you well on your journey to true happiness.

About holistic complications

I like to work on a personal goal or challenge each year .. learning from my previous experiences, I try and face my fears, to stretch myself and step forward, to create a more holistic and authentic life, living with good intentions - a clear, honest and 'real' life! I want to be more accountable for the life I live and create! My experience of being real and authentic are quite complicated at times!! I blog to share my blunders, experiences and ideas and to gain some insight from the self reflection that the process of blogging creates for me.
