2012 intentions ~ first quarter

Dear Friends,

I have made it through eleven and half weeks of being accountable and declaring my intentions to others. I will admit it has not been easy.  The first two months were good and I felt quite motivated and energetic about my intentions.  However, during March I have waned a little and the first two week especially.  To be honest I think this month’s intention has been the most difficult to see good progress with.   This could be in part because I believe it has an emotional and philosophical component to the intention.  How we live  … how I live!

As well as getting to know the ‘blogging’ world.  That in itself is a whole new experience (read challenge) to this little scared chicken.  I shall tell you more about that another day!

My progress during January and February months were a little easier to do.  Success and achievement was easier to see when it happened (eg. an empty space when junk and clutter was removed / a full fruit bowl and enjoyable breakfast / my gym shoes being used for a walk or a tia chi session).

But, March and being accountable, living each day by my intentions I feel like a bit of a fraud.  So the second part of the month I have decided it is time to step up to the plate [metaphorically speaking] and participate more fully.  Yes, I have posted regularly on Holistic Complications WordPress Blog in the first quarter of 2012.  Yes, I have removed some junk and clutter from my life and home.  Yes, I have a healthy breakfast more regularly than I did in the past year.  Exercise?  No!  Not great improvement yet.  Sure I have had spurts of energy and exercise but it is not part of my everyday life!  I do take the stairs more often and most days do some stretching exercise.  However, I could do much better.

So  .. yes I am slack and probably unfit.  I am now thinking I might need to join a walking group or yoga class to get me motivated.  I shall let you know how that goes.

As for now, below is the list (to date) of what I intend to do and resolve to continue to improve on.

January   ~  Holistically cleanse and de-clutter (resolve to remove clutter and junk from my life)

February  ~ Improve health and fitness (resolve to improve my nutrition and exercise more)

March ~ Maintain a blog (resolve to live by my intentions and be accountable to others)

So now it is time to take a deep breath,

open my mind and get ready for April 2012!
