Week two: It is an interesting thing to look at what I have and then decide which ‘thing’ I am ready to sell. It is so easy to notice the things at first that are worn, tired, broken or damaged and think ….
“.. perhaps it is time to let that one go .. I wonder what $ value I can sell that one for.. ?”
… and then realise why I am prepared to let it go. Why do I have this? What IS this? One thing I do know, it’s of no use to me and most likely would be of no use to anyone else either. Wake up and see the truth!
Consequently, a lot of things are going in the rubbish (a.k.a. garbage bin). For example: brown bowl with chip (rarely used), faded tee-shirt, threadbare tea-towels, stained pillowslips (sitting discarded in the bottom of the ironing basket), battered old winter shoes. Here are three more things on my ‘52 things‘ list.
Item two: Floor squeeze mop Price of sale: $nil (rubbish bin)
Item Three: Red Shoes Price of sale: $nil (giveaway)
Item Four: Electric Dust buster Price of sale: $nil (charity bin)
Just as well I am not planning to buy anything big and fancy with this money I am making from my ‘sales’!
